This time of year when the temptation for over con

This time of year when the temptation for over consumption is higher than ever, I am doing my best to practice gratitude. The scarcity mindset is what makes capitalism + consumerism go round, and it will have you believing that you never “have enough”. But by practicing gratitude, you are training your mind to shift its focus to what you DO have, reminding you that you ARE enough.

I am so grateful for my family, my home, my friends, my community, my teachers. And for queer, trans, BIPOC and many other marginalised people who have of course known this all along. Thank you for teaching me.
